Australia will reopen to vaccinated international tourists on the 21st February and we here at Norther® can’t be more excited (cue, excited face emoji 😁 🙌🏻). This has come at the perfect time as the Northern Territory is on sale until the 31st March 2022.
This reopening brings an end to one of the world’s longest and strictest coronavirus border closures ever seen in Australia’s history. Our opening to our worldly neighbours is a welcome relief to all those who have been waiting patiently to see:

Welcoming visitors back into Australia and in particular the Northern Territory after being through lockdowns, closures, and lack of supplies (ah-hem, toilet paper) is a welcome relief and a time to reunite! And, just in time too for the Northern Territory is on sale.
The exact details made by Australia’s current Prime Minister are found in the press release, and, to surmise:
- Return of tourists, business travellers, and other visitors from 21 February 2022
- Fully vaccinated (or have a valid travel exemption) to enter Australia
- Those who are not vaccinated will be subject to quarantine requirements
